Event Notes: -This event was televised on TNN's Motor Madness Monster Jam. -This event also featured a motocross jump (by Seth Enslow), Sand Drag racing (won by David Taylor, driving "Tuff-a-Nuff"), and Robosaurus. -Footage from this event was featured in the 2002 film, Waking Up in Reno. -Lyle Hancock was substituting for Dennis Anderson in Grave Digger, due to Dennis' recent back injury in New Orleans. -In his first round race against Wrenchead, Nitro Machine blew an engine, and was unable to complete in freestyle. -During his freestyle run, Goldberg barrel-rolled completely over, landing back on the wheels and continuing his run.
