From Petersen's 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine, June 1986. Ford & Budweiser Championships SRO Promotions and Pace Management Anaheim Stadium, Anaheim California February 1st and 2nd I think this was Show 2, and Show 1 was January 4th and 5th. The double-pull was run on tracks of 155-ft and 160-ft. Also mud boggins, jet quad, Brian Carson. The monster truck obstacle course began with a sled pull, then a "10-ft hill", 2 sets of cars (either 13 total or 13 in each set), and then a small run to the finish. I put "10-ft hill" in quotes because if you look at the photos on Midwest Monsters ( www.midwestmonsters.com/miscgallery.htm), the hill is only 5-ft tall in reality. Truck in AttendanceBigfoot IV - Bob Chandler Rollin' Thunder Destroyer I Monster Mash Skoal Bandits Altitude Plus Cyclops Jack Rabbit Santanimal Bigfoot Shuttle The article said there were 12 trucks, so I guess I'm missing two. Destroyer and Bigfoot Shuttle do not appear in the article, but are seen in the photos on Midwest Monsters. Listing Santanimal as a 'monster truck' is a bit of a stretch, and I do not know if it participated in the obstacle course or just a parade lap. Long story short: Bigfoot won both nights. No times or other information provided.
