Notes:
-This was the day after Dennis Anderson's scary crash with Grave Digger 7, where he slammed sideways into the wall of the speedway after the finish line. Anderson suffered broken ribs in the incident, creating back problems that continue to trouble him to this day.
-The track almost seemed to be excessively slippery, with three trucks spinning out during the first round, and one of those trucks, Excaliber, spinning out in the final round. Despite the spin, however, Charlie Pauken recovered enough to threaten Rambo at the end of the race.
-No Problem lost its front steering off the starting line in its first round matchup against King Krunch, leaving John Moore to only be able to steer the truck with rear steering. Since the rear steering is generally switch operated, the truck oversteered virtually every time Moore hit the switch, causing the truck to spin out several times before finishing.
-The mechanical and handling problems that the other trucks suffered allowed Bill Weaver to take his only televised win in Rambo.
