Event Notes:
-This event was televised on TNN's Motor Madness Monster Jam.
-This event also featured a timed Tuff Truck competition, won by Jim Hopkins, driving "Ram Rod II," as well as Quad Wars (Team Nashville vs. Team St. Louis).
-During his timed run, Steve Hopkins flipped his "Ram Rod I" tuff truck over forwards on the final jump.
-The first round race between Monster Patrol and Grave Digger resulted in controversy, as Paul Shafer claimed he did not have a clear view of the start light; however, track officals ruled that the light was visible from Shafer's location on the track, and Grave Digger was still awarded the win.
-In the round one race between Samson and Equalizer, David Morris ran over a turning pole, resulting in a disqualification.
-In the semi-final race between Samson and Grave Digger, both trucks received a disqualification, so it was ruled that both disqualifications would cancel out, and the winner would be decided in the typical fashion (the first truck to cross the finish line).
-While attempting a donut during a freestyle run, Gary Porter rolled Carolina Crusher.
