Event Notes:
-This event was televised on TNN's Motor Madness Monster Jam.
-This event also featured a Tuff Truck competition, won by Gary Woodruff, as well as a Odessey Jump, performed by Spanky Spangler, Quad Wars (Team Seattle vs. Team Orlando), and a rollover competition.
-In his first round race against Captain America, Chuck Jordan broke the front end tie-rod on Survivor, upon landing on the final jump.
-Samson broke a sway bar after colliding with a tuff truck hill in the semi-finals, and was unable to return for the finals.
-The television broadcast played the same Grave Digger vs. Captain America matchup twice to give the illusion that Grave Digger had earned its way into the finals - in actuality, Jeff Bainter pulled off one of the biggest upsets of his career in the semifinals, defeating Dennis Anderson. Captain America broke and was unable to return in time for the final round, meaning both semifinal losers would face each other in the finals due to the break rule.
