Date: January 1989.
Track: Outdoors, 2 roller hills, an inside turn and a set of 6 cars. Finish line is at the end of the cars.
Lineup: Mike Welch (Super Pete), Jeff Bergeman (Maui Monster), Mark Wheeler (Terraduster II), Gary Schott (Terminator), Steve Dane (Awesome Kong IV), Jack Willman Sr. (Taurus), Travis Welch (Monster Mash), Jack Willman Jr. (Taurus II), Kid Rarig (PA Mountain Monster), Dave Bell (So High Too), ? (Poi Pounder II), Ollie Anderson (Destroyer I)
Results:
Round 1: M. Welch def. Bergeman Poi Pounder II def. Schott Dane def. Willman Sr. Willman Jr. def. T. Welch Rarig def. Bell
Semifinals: Wheeler def. Dane Monster Mash (break rule) def. Rarig -Wheeler disqualified
Finals: Dane def. Monster Mash
Notes: This event marked one of the only times both Jack Willman Sr. and Jack Willman Jr. ran Taurus trucks at the same event. Normally the team were so busy, they'd be at dfferent venues promoting the Taurus name. Mike Welch's Super Pete, along with Willman Jr. had trouble and couldn't continue in the show, bringing Welch's Monster Mash back in to face Steve Dane's Awesome Kong in the finals. Dane's truck reached the finals because Mark Wheeler jumped the gun and was disqualified. This event also featured an exhibition by Ollie Anderson's transforming Destroyer I monster truck.

This event was promoted by John Borba, who would later go on to form WGAS Motorsports.

And, the obligatory question...does full footage exist of this event?

Not full coverage, but enough to form the results in this post. There was also a 48" tired truck called the Royal Hawaiian at this event.

Schott loses to Poi Pounder II in round one, not Terraduster. Terraduster's first round matchup, if he had one, was not shown. I was at this event, but I was only three years old at the time and don't remember a thing.
