Shafer d. Moore
Round 2:
Brass d. Morris

Shafer d. Porter (had trouble stopping at the end of the course and made tire-to-tire contact with Shafer)
Finals:
Shafer d. Brass
Notes:
-The track appeared to have been modified in some form to allow for two sets of cars in a safe manner. The previous day, Snake Bite suffered two crashes due to the short shutdown area, first rolling over in qualifying, then the infamous Round 1 crash that saw the truck destroy a storage shed off to the side of the track. Following this crash, the remainder of Day 1 racing was restricted to a one-jump race course.
-This was the first televised Trucks and Tractor Power show to feature Morris driving Equalizer since he took a sabbatical early in the 1990 TNT season to help care for his newborn daughter Mallory.
-Other trucks that were in attendance in Union Grove but did not make the event included Mike Vaters' Black Stallion (who made the Day 1 field), Milwaukee Iron, the 48-inch tired truck OverXcited, and the Hall brothers' Big Boss.
