Notes: Rod Litzau's USA-1 was still missing the hood on the truck after rolling it the previous week in Buffalo, NY. Litzau, however, would prove the truck was fine, winning his 3rd event in a row. Mike Wine dislocated a couple fingers on his hand in the first round driving Jersey Outlaw, so Bennett Clark, who normally drover Clydesdale, jumped in for Wine. Before this event, Steve Cain and crew found a throttle linkage stop in Awesome Kong, that was presumably put in by Steve Cain. Aafter removing it, Awesome Kong would have considerably more power. It would, however, cause the truck to blow a couple motors, forcing them to sit out the end of the season, returning for '90 with Jerry Janke sponsored motors.
