Date: September 13th.
Track: Indoors, a roller hill and a set of 8 cars. Finish line is in the middle of the last car.
Lineup: Gary Porter (Carolina Crusher II), Dennis Anderson (Grave Digger II), Gary Wiggins (Mopar Magic II), Scott Stephens (King Krunch III), Dave Wieczorek (Night Life II), Marvin Smith (Stomper II), John Kwasniewski (Buffalo Tremor II), Rod Litzau (USA-1 II), John Moore (No Problem II), Bennett Clark (Clydesdale II), Mike Wine (Jersey Outlaw), Tom Beitz (Thunder Chicken), David Morris (Equalizer), Bob Breen (Wild Hair).
Results:
Round 1:

Kwasniewski def. Smith
Litzau def. Moore
Porter def. Clark
Beitz def. Wine
Morris def. Breen
Stephens def. Wieczorek
Quarterfinals:
Stephens def. Wiggins
Litzau def. Kwasniewski
Porter def. Wine (fast loser)
Morris def. Beitz
Semifinals:
Stephens def. Litzau
Porter def. Morris
Finals:
Stephens def. Porter
Points Standings:
1. Equalizer 691
2. Carolina Crusher 657
3. USA-1 540
4. Grave Digger 418
5. Night Life 354
6. Mad Dog 303
7. No Problem 285
8. Clydesdale 245
9. Wild Hair 233
10. Awesome Kong 226
Notes: This was the second to last weekend of the year. Dennis Anderson broke an axle shaft on Grave Digger in qualifying, giving Gary Wiggins' Mopar Magic an easy win in round one. Rod Litzau's USA-1 was still missing the hood from the wreck the week before in Flint, MI. If David Morris beats Gary Porter in the semifinals of this show, the Carolina Crusher would have had virtually no chance of beating the Equalizer for the points championship.
