Notes: This was one of the first appearances for Jeff Bainter's High Voltage. The truck looked to be a virtual replica of Bainter's old truck, Hot Stuff. It was, in fact, quite a bit more advanced than Hot Stuff, which debuted at the end of 1986. Debbie Rhoden, driver of Hot Stuff, was at this time dating Bainter, though they would split just over a year later, and Bainter would sell Hot Stuff to Todd Blaeser. Mike Katz flips Virginia Beach Beast while free-styling for the fans. This is commonly referred to as the first time anyone ever turned over one of these tanks during competition.
