Notes: This was the first outdoor show of the season. The track was also slick and muddy. There was plenty of breakage in qualifying including Anderson breaking the transmission, Wild Hair blowing the motor, and Wiggins having electrical problems. In his losing first round race, Steve Cain broke the rear drive-shaft which while under power then broke the transfer case and then the front drive-shaft. In the first semi-final, both Morris and Moore failed to get both front wheels up the 2nd set but since they both didn't make it, Morris still moved on to the finals.
