Notes: This was one of the first shows for Dale Hancock after he flipped the original Krimson Krusher at the 1987 Louisville TNT event. This event also marked a few other first and lasts. Making its debut at the event was George "Spanky" Cole's Gator tank truck. At its next televised USHRA event, the Gator would lock horns with the Virginia Beach Beast at the finish line in Anaheim, CA, doing minor damage to both vehicles. This was also the re-debut for Brett Engelman's Heartbeat truck. It was newly reconstructed after losing the rear axle a month earlier in Pontiac, MI while racing Kevin Dabney's Duraliner Giant. Making its final televised appearance was Alan Pezo's Lone Eagle. In December of 1987 the truck was rebodied and painted as the Predator. Predator did not bear resemblance to Pezo's current Predator trucks, as this one would be blue, and in a normal pick-up shape.
