Roberts Stadium - Evansville, IN
March 1995 (exact day uncertain)
Sanctioned by Ed Beckley and Checkered Flag Promotions
Straight Line drag over two sets of 6 crush cars. Of course on concrete and no dirt.
Event also included a stunt jump performed by Ed Beckley.
Truck/Driver Lineup:
Bigfoot #15 - Eric Meagher
Executioner - Mark Hall
Overkill- Kirk Dabney
Hot Pursuit - Greg Adams
Moving Violation - Brian Welch
Knight Stalker - Steve Combs
First was the wheelie contest, which gave the drivers an opportunity to show off while crushing down the cars for racing. Kirk Dabney was the first up and managed to launch Overkill almost vertical off the first car. I don't recall who was declared the winner (I was 9 years old), but the memory of Overkill going almost straight up in the air still sticks with me to this day.
ROUND 1:
Executioner def. Moving Violation
Overkill def. Knight Stalker
Bigfoot def. Hot Pursuit
SEMI_FINALS:
Overkill def. Executioner
Bigfoot def. Moving Violation (fast loser)
FINALS:
Overkill def. Bigfoot
^Believe me, seeing my hero (Bigfoot) get whooped fair and square by a truck I had never heard of until that night was upsetting to 9-year-old me.
I'm going off memory, I was really young back then, so I may have gotten some details wrong. I don't remember what other things they had going on between rounds of MT racing.

Awesome stuff! I didn't know that the Halls and Dabney were running with CFP in 1995. Very cool. Thanks for sharing!
