Notes: This event seemed to encapsulate the USHRA's thinking in the late 1980's. They hype up the event as a "World Finals"-type atmosphere, bring in the top two trucks they had at the time, yet then they go and invite Jake Henke's Aces High and Gary Bauer's Lon Ranger. Two trucks that obviously were only there as easy fodder for Jim Kramer's Bigfoot VII and Fred Shafer's Bear Foot Racer.
