Marvin Smith's Stomper also broke and could not make the program. Steve Wilke was still in USA-1, replacing Rod Litzau. Jon Breen's Mad Dog would also break during the event, allowing Kid Rarig's Thunder Chicken a second chance. This event has to be one of the wildest in TNT's history. Never before had so many unusual trucks made it to the semifinals. In the end, John Kwasniewski's Buffalo Tremor would grab his first and only televised win on the TNT circuit.
