Track: Outdoors, a roller hill and 2 sets of 10 cars. Finish line is in between the 8th and 9th cars.

Round 1: Anderson (bye) Clark def. Huffaker Litzau def. Dennis Porter def. Moore Giles (bye) Hooser def. Stephens -Smith broke in qualifying
Quarterfinals: Anderson def. Stephens (fast loser) Litzau def. Clark Porter def. Giles Huffaker def. Hooser -Huffaker and Hooser broke
Semifinals: Anderson def. Litzau Porter def. Stephens (fast loser) -Anderson blew a motor
Finals: Litzau (break rule) def. Porter
Notes: Bennett Clark's Clydesdale almost goes nose over in between the last set of cars, but is able to keep the truck under control. Rod Litzau concludes his debut weekend with the first of many wins for USA-1 in 1988. In a wild quarterfinal race, Paul Huffaker's Jus' Showin' Off beats Rich Hooser's Bigfoot, with both trucks sustaining too much damage to continue racing, bringing Scott Stephens' King Krunch all the way back for tyhe second time in the event from the loser's bracket. Dennis Anderson's Grave Digger blew a motor after defeating Litzau, which gave Litzau the chance at a victory, his first in TNT motorsports.
