Notes: In the first elimination race of the night, Dan Tassone's Star Monster would be hit broadside by Kid Rarig's PA Mountain Monster. The hit would actually break Star Monster's frame in half, and Tassone would have to completely rebuild the truck. Tassone, unaware of the damage, would still race th truck the rest of the weekend. This was the first event ever for Bob Breen's Wild Hair truck. The team would use the truck in 1988 to test parts for the 1989 TNT racing circuit. Kevin Dabney's Alien's engine gives him problems at the starting line, so Jon Breen's Mad Dog has an easy trip to the finals. Steve Hess breaks the front driver's side wheel completely off Nitemare in the finals, but the truck manages to stay upright.
