Track: Outdoors, u-shaped track, an inside turn, a set of 7 cars and a set of 9 cars. Finish line is in between the 7th and 8th cars.

Round 1: Litzau def. J. Breen Hooser def. Harris Stephens def. Moore Smith def. Dennis Porter def. B. Breen -Dennis disqualified
Quarterfinals: Litzau def. Harris (fast loser) Hooser def. Stephens Porter def. Smith -Smith disqualified

Notes: Just like the previous day, the drivers had a tough time negotiating the turns in the new u-shaped course. As a result, several trucks were disqualified. Rod Litzau's USA-1 broke an engine rotor after his quarterfinal race, but was able to fix it before losing to Rich Hooser and Bigfoot. Although Dale Harris' Casper was disqualified in winning the semfinal race against Gary Porter's Carolina Crusher, Harris would not have returned anyhow, as he broke the rear driveshaft on the run.
