Trucks: Cliff Starbird - Monster Vette, Jim Oldaker - Rollin' Thunder, Mike Welch - Monster Mash, Barry Wentz - Frankenstein
Track: A straight line drag race consisting entirely of cars. Whomever's rear wheels touched the ground first at the end of the track was the winner, and to fall off the side of the cars in any form resulted in a DQ.
Semifinals: Welch d. Wentz Oldaker d. Starbird
Finals: Welch d. Oldaker
Notes: -Appearing on the 1985 TV-ONE special "Battle of the Monster Trucks," this was only the second televised monster truck race in history, after the 1983 face off between USA-1 and Bigfoot. -In the final round, Monster Mash broke a front steering knuckle coming off the cars, causing the front tires to face two seperate directions. -Pictures have shown that more than four trucks were present at the show, possibly indicated a quarterfinal round was run as well.

I believe this was actually a Starbird event (Cliff used to promote his own events back in the day), however USHRA obtained the rights to film via Jan Gabriel.
