Notes: This was an unusual event for the USHRA. For one, it was held outdoors. Second, the trucks had to do a full track run in qualifying, then only a half-track run in eliminations. And third, no big name trucks were at this show, including a few that would be making their USHRA debuts. That included Gary Schramm's Big Red, Steve Comb's Knight Stalker and Dave Staczak's Mr. Twister. The track length really took its toll on a few of the trucks. Nick Rossi blew the power steering on Jersey Outlaw, Rob Fuchs hit the wall, doing some front end damage to First Blood, and Steve Comb's Knight Stalker broke a rear driveshaft. This was one of the last events Ray Piorkowski ever ran his tow truck under the name Big Tow. Shortly following this event Piorkowski would repaint the truck as Evil Force. This was the first time Fuchs ever won a USHRA event. Fuchs would later win a major event at Minneapolis, MN.
